Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5:30PM. Even though emergencies do occur, we endeavor to stay on schedule at all times. Please help us by being on time for your appointments.
Cancellations
Your appointment is time especially reserved for you. If you cannot keep your appointment, cancellation should be made 24 hours prior to your appointment. This allows us to use this time to help other patients.
Emergencies
If there is an urgent problem that cannot wait, please call the office at 8AM. This will allow us to accommodate you with minimal waiting time. If the office is closed when you call, you will be given specific instructions on how to obtain emergency care.
Fees and Payment Arrangements
The fees for treatment will be discussed fully prior to the beginnng of therapy. In an effort to provide you with quality dental care and flexible payment arrangements, we have expanded our payment policy. Payments can be made by cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Payment for services are due at the time services are rendered unless payment arrangements have been approved in advance. Returned checks and balances older than 30 days will be subject to additional collection fees and appropriate monthly interest charges. Charges may also be made for broken appointments and appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours of appointment.
For your convenience, our office is an approved and accredited user of all major credit cards which enable you to use your credit cards to automatically cover amounts not paid by insurance.
Insurance
We are committed to providing you with the best possible care. If you have dental or medical insurance, we are anxious to help you receive your maximum allowable benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance, and your understanding of our payment policy. We will gladly discuss your proposed treatment and answer any questions relating to your insurance. You must realize, however, that:
- Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract.
- Not all services are a covered benefit in all contracts. Some insurance companies arbitrarily select certain services they will not cover.
We must emphasize that as dental care providers, our relationship is with you, and not your insurance company. While the filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to our patients, all charges are your responsibility from the date services are rendered. We realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account. If such problems do arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account.
If you have any questions about the above information, or any uncertainty regarding insurance coverage or treatment please don't hesitate to ask us. Our courteous, friendly, and educated staff is eager to assist you with any questions you may have. |
